Opel Junior concept

A 1983 concept that is still relevant 

A calm but handsome interior (with notable asymmetric hood and very low drag coefficient) cloaks an exceptionally modular and functionalist interior that is much the work of Chris Bangle.
Likely taking learning from the 1976 Peugeot Peugette concept from Pininfarina, the Citroen Visa, and maybe various classic sixties Brionvega radios also — and in-turn the design went on to inspire the original Smart City Coupe and Renault Twingo.
With the potential value of being able to offer different interior fits for different (car share) brands, arguably this concept with its emphasis on modular interior design has longer lasting relevance than most 35 year old designs...
