A series of first hand luxury experiences for the design team
Challenge:
The OEM car brand client’s European satellite design studio wanted to experience first hand some truly personal, luxury products and services as part of a programme to raise awareness of possible future directions, and to experience the world of the high-end customer
Research and Outputs:
Sourcing and programming of relevant but diverse and distinctive people, places and processes – many behind-closed-doors — and the programming and curation of a day event where the client design team met, visited, and experienced leading tailor-made (mostly luxury) brands with particularly distinct products and customer service. These included John Lobb (the oldest hand made shoe manufacturer in the world – replete with ‘lasts’ for Frank Sinatra), the Louis Vuitton ‘apartment’ (secret VIP only space in the LV ‘house’), Levis Curve ID fitting process, digital body-scan based suit tailor, and a Nike Town custom running shoe design consultation session.
